Has your business expanded to the point where you are considering taking on a permanent member of staff to look after your
IT? Have you had bad experiences with other IT support companies or even permanent IT staff in the past? If either of these
are true, then IT Outsourcing can provide you with the reliability, consistency and confidence that you are looking for, not to
mention value for money.
So what is IT Outsourcing for Small Business?
Essentially, we act as your whole IT department, taking on full responsibility for your IT infrastructure, leaving you to
concentrate on running your business.
Within our outsourcing service, we provide support services, including helpdesk, remote support and desk-side support
as required. You will also get the services of a dedicated IT Manager, on-site, from as little as half a day per month,
depending on the size and complexity of your business.
The IT Manager’s role is two-fold. Firstly he will work to get your systems configured correctly, so that hopefully there is less need to call on our
support services, because, as we all know, having your PC or server out of action for even a few hours can be highly
disruptive for your business.
The second role of the IT Manager is to introduce an element of IT strategy into your business. Through this he will
work with you in order to plan for the future, so as to ensure
that you are getting the best value for money out of your IT expenditure. This could include planning for and carrying
out installation and upgrade projects, or, for example, assisting with the selection of products and third party
vendors and the subsequent project management of any implementation project.
We have structured our service into bronze, silver and gold packages, so you should find a package that suits your company size
and the business criticality of your IT.
Over time, we guarantee to reduce your IT support costs and Total Cost of Ownership (TCO).

Notes:
1) The length of the audit will depend on the size and complexity of your IT systems, up to a maximum of 1 day.
The output from the audit will be a set of recommend actions for getting your existing systems into an acceptable state.
You will be under no obligation to have these actions carried out by Solutions Shared or any other IT services provider.
2) The items monitored on servers includes hardware (processor, memory, disk usage, etc), Windows services, error
reports in the Windows Event Logs and network connectivity. Additional monitored items, such as a hosted website or
back-end system, can also be monitored as required. Monitoring is performed every 60 seconds and our engineers are
automatically notified should an alert be triggered.
3) The items monitored on desktops and laptops includes hardware (processor, memory, disk usage, etc) and error
reports in the Windows Event Logs (with an emphasis on detecting things like an impending hard disk failure).
