What is VoIP?

Voice over Internet Protocol, or VoIP, is the technology which enables telephone calls to be made over an Internet connection as opposed to a traditional telephone network.


Why should you choose VoIP over traditional telephone services?

VoIP Express

VoIP Express is a hosted single user, pre-pay service that is particularly suitable for residential and SoHo customers. VoIP Express boasts a number of key features including:

  • A geographic (01/02) or non geographic (0845/03) telephone number.

  • Easy online account management via an online user portal which includes a pre-pay top-up facility.

  • Free on-net calls to other users on the Entanet VoIP platform.

  • Inclusive voicemail retrievable via phone, email or online at the user portal.

  • SMS facility with the ability to send texts from the online user portal.

  • Real time call data.

  • Call forwarding to route incoming calls to alternative numbers.

  • Black & white call lists to block/allow calls from specific numbers


VoIP Enrich

VoIP Enrich is particularly suitable for companies requiring a multi-user service with key business functionality. A hosted service, VoIP Enrich provides the features available with VoIP Express, plus:

  • Call recording by extension, hunt group or call queue.

  • Hunt groups enabling you to group phones within a department.

  • Call queues to ensure your customers are retained.

  • Auto attendant and time based routing to effectively manage the flow of incoming calls.

  • Extension level dialling to direct calls efficiently.

  • Music on hold.


VoIP Elite

VoIP Elite is a bespoke service designed for businesses who require a dedicated and fully managed solution, or who require bespoke functionality. VoIP Elite can be customised to integrate with a your existing systems (e.g. CRM) in order to offer a complete call management solution. Features can include:

  • Real time and on-demand call recording.

  • Database integration.

  • 3rd party software integration.

  • Click-to-dial with on screen phone directories.

  • Receptionist console.

  • ISDN back up.


VoIP EasyAccess

VoIP EasyAccess is a call termination service for companies that already have an internal IP PBX (IP phone system) and simply require access to a VoIP provider’s network. It also includes a full UK numbering service.
